Question 1: Favorite film?
When Harry Met Sally
I have watched a countless amount of films, hours spent staring at a screen but one stands out from the rest. When Harry Met Sally. The heartwarming Rom-com ensured to bring your tears of all sorts. The four star film rated by Empire as "Wall to Wall comic Brilliance - a must for any collection", staring Meg Ryan who plays a young adult who is just finding her feet as she moves to New York. Who meets Billy Crystal ironically every five years, primarily on a drive from Chicago to New York. Over time they come from enemies to friends and finally to a little bit more than that..
The film is my personal favourite, due to the fact that you as the viewer are able to see the character's progress as individuals, with their thoughts and feelings. This movie also has very memorable moments and scenes which are explosively funny and have audiences in fits of laugher. Directed by Rob Reiner it has to be my top film of all time and i could watch it (and have watched it) at least three times a fort night. Its timeless, every time you watch it you notice something you have never noticed before, it slowly makes you fall in love the characters as if you knew them yourself.
My favourite quote from the film, would have to be when "Harry" is explaining to "Sally" that women and men cannot be friends. Ryan portrays that her character is shocked to what her co star has said, complaining that the idea of their own relationship has now been effectively ruined because the idea of sex, is "already out there". In which Crystal the replies quick wittily with "oh no call the cops it already out there" in a sarcastic and funny tone, this hasn't always been my favourite line but as i watched the film more and more, it preempts the future nearing the end of the film which i find very entertaining and never fails to make me laugh.
